Bête Perdue, A work which muses on the capacity for belief and everyday disenchantment in the common world. Drawn from story and abstraction, Bête Perdue is created collaboratively by choreographer Mary Oslund and master drummer and composer Obo Addy, who has created commissioned work for Kronos Quartet, Third Angle, and is an NEA Heritage Artist. The score by Addy will meld African and Western modes and instrumentation at a cultural intersection. The work premieres April 18-20, 2008 at Imago Theatre in Portland, Oregon.
