A highly kinetic full company piece, Undertone features powerful, sinuous, and aggressive movement, and takes cues from outright voyeurism and fiercely interactive dancing.The first section of this work was presented in 2002, and it currently comprises a seamless three-part form. The score is by Australian composer Darrin Verhagen, who has created many works for Lucy Guerin and Sue Healey (Chunky Move), and has worked with Mary Oslund on various projects since 2000.
